for a teammate killed. the cowboys learned last night that line to backer jerry brown had died in an accident. josh rent is charged with intoxication manslaughter and he remains behind bars. an off-duty baltimore county police officer is on the mend after being shot while attempting to break up a crowd. the officer was driving near dale avenue just before 3:30 this morning when he came across a large group of people blocking the street. police say the officer of the crowd to move so he could get by, but we're told the man emerged from the crowd and fired several shots into the officer's car striking him twice. the officer's name was treated and released from shock trauma and they do not think of the officer was targeted. mothers against drunk driving call this the most dangerous time to be on the roadways. howard county was out earlier looking for drivers under the influence. we're live from the news vermont more with what they found. >> they stopped almost 650 cars overnight arresting six of those drivers. five of them were charged with driving under the influence and one person arrested dri
